How it works
We accept the completed manuscript and check it against our publishing guidelines. We will then format and turn it into both a trade paperback and ebook. Books are assigned a publisher ISBN and catalogued making them available to order worldwide. On publication we send copies to the statutory libraries.
Author Supported publishing
With our packages you, the author, will pre-purchase a set number of copies of your book at a standard advance of publication price. Of course, you may be able to get sponsorship from friends, family or other contacts.
You will receive your copies before the publication date and you can either sell them on, give them to family or friends, use them to promote your book or keep them.
Pre-publication copies are produced in limited numbers and will be identified on the cover as an advance copy. If you become a successful writer these limited editions may well become collector's items especially if you have signed them!
Real books
We operate a short run print on demand production facility to fulfil orders for trade paperbacks. Trade paperbacks are perfect bound and printed on higher quality paper than the cheaper newsprint style of paperbacks. Covers are lightweight card and laminated for durability.
Book sales
Your paperback will be available to order from our own website and through all reputable booksellers, including Amazon and Waterstones. Ebooks will be available for download directly from our website.
We will supply you with a marketing plan to help you promote your book together with discount vouchers.
Cost
Our packages cost £499.75 for a single work and £99.95 for a submission to a compilation package.
Royalties
You will earn a royalty on every book sold at full retail price or sold through a bookseller. No royalties are paid on pre-publication copies, discounted sales, promotional copies or copies you buy at the special author rate.
Royalties may be at a lower rate than traditional publishing where economies of scale can achieve costs savings but with on demand technology you get paid for every sale.
